Taras PylypivPhysician Assistant
Taras Pylypiv, PA is board certified and licensed Physician Assistant. He graduated from SUNY Stony Brook University with Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, he worked for Yale New Haven Bridgeport Hospital for over 3 years in trauma Orthopaedic specialty. He then, relocated to Southern California to join UCI Orthopaedic Surgery department where he now works directly with trauma surgeons Dr. Scolaro and Dr. Learned. He is involved in the entire patient care from diagnosis and treatment, to intraoperative assistance and post-operative care. This allows for continuity of patient care even in a busy academic center.
Personal:
Taras resides in Orange County and in his free time he enjoys any outdoor activities, especially swimming and biking with his family and discovering the world of travel.
